At Kourion, we created these two pieces of art, as we gained a deeper knowledge of the ancient archaeological site and its Christian heritage. When reading the translation of the original mosaic in the House of Eustolios, we were moved by its powerful message as we stood on the threshold of his home that he dedicated to Christ. Looking through the magnificent arch at the Basilica, we were dazzled by the radient clouds in the sky. That very image became our home page and our inspirational poster.

We have created a beautiful artwork that is true to the 4th century mosaic form by using every element from the Greek original. As Eustolios did all those centuries ago, you too may use the spirit of his words to dedicate your home to Christ.

No other such declaration has been found on the island to this day, making it without a doubt one of the earliest, perhaps even the very first dedication of one's home to Christ anywhere.
